Mini getaway at Kusu Island

Time really flies...Just last monday, i took my off-in-lieu and visited the "kusu" island. But it seems just yesterday. Its a yearly activities that we try to make an effort to. Praying was an reason but getting away from the hustle of the city life and not costing a bomb is the only way we can do.

As i always believer strongly and still trying to "brainwash" my hubby that couple must always try to do things together after marriage. AS city bustler, we tend to forget our loved ones in the midst of trying to survive for living. But life is definitely more than slogging for your work, right? Love also must play a strong part. As the saying goes, when one is loved, all things fall naturally in together..

What a strong truth fact and advise..Eversince she join us in GPO, my life has improved through her golden advice and strong experiences in the healthcare industry. She is basically a walking directory of the Health Industry. Anything under the sun related to hospital, she can tell you her story and share with you all her experiences..Might us...40YEAR...Her whole life dedicated to Singapore Healthcare...Guess nowadays, there wouldnt be anymore of such cases. Nowadays youngster will just change job as long as they are not happy with the enviroment and pay...

As for me, I will look upon her as my next idol after HJ. Staying and surviving in a political place for 40YEARS...Using her golden advice "Whenever there is a problem, there's always a solution in a matter of time! Germs everywhere in the air

Being sick since thursday till today. Work place is full of germs. Even opening the windows and airing the area doesnt help. 3 of my collegues are sick but only 1 of them need to be on sick leave while the others are still able to make it to work..Poor me whom immunity is super low, got the germs and fell sick after surviving for 4 days with them. How does one build up immunity??? Self discipline! Janice Tan, can u please be more self discipline and stop being lazy? Eat less meat, eat more fruit, do more yoga, stress lesser, relax more, eat less fried food ...NO NO NO NO is NO FRIED FOOD AT ALL....for at least 3 months...U will grow slimmer, prettier, better health and look more radiant...YES JANICE TAN....YES...I am strong, healthy, slimmer and prettier nowadays....

Political everywhere..to help us grow and learn?!!!

How does one find a place to work or survive without the "political" presence?

Human being is such a complicated animal. On that thought, all animals are complicated but human being seems to be the worse. Could it be due to civilisation that one has to be cunning in order to survive? Why does it have to be cunning? why not be kind and compassionate? In Confucian ethics, all human beings are born with a heart of kindness but blinded by this "civilisation and materialistic" world. Sad isnt it?

How nice if this world is filled with love, kindness and compassionate! There would be no war, no jealousy, no hatred, no anger, no quarrel, no misunderstanding and the list goes on....

I is the word to begin with..Yes i should begin to be loving , kind and show compassion even to those who try to hurt me...But will it be "kill" before then?

Hm......

Music that brings back memories

Not sure if one does believe that music is not only for leisure but also serves more than one purpose...It can heal ones sadness, bring us back to those old days, keep us as companion when one felt lonely and low, brighten our day especially when one is listening to our favourite song or music.

Yesterday, dear and me found so many nice wonderful song...All the way from small kids to our growing stage in our teens, our first love, our elder siblings favourite tunes, his army days songs and the list goes on....

Its always good to bring back memories...be it sad or sweet. For it acts as a reflection and also memories to hold on. Especially if that song was shared with one that is no longer around. It all felt as if it was just yesterday.

"One can forget the first impression but one never forget its first taste and feeling" This was quoted by some famous writer whom i forget where i read from (Sorry..hahaha)

Maybe i can start collating and listen to it when we are old. Hope more good music are shared and created for better future..

Bitter Sweet feeling today

Its an bitter sweet feeling today.

Wonderful Hot Sunday, a day after the festive of lights. Had a game of badminton with hubby at our house downstairs court. Felt like living in a condo...HAahahaa..But it was a definte feeling of life being improved! Comparing to those days where my and hubby are delivering newspaper when we were setting up our own courier and transport business and making ends meets daily, sharing a bowl of "Ban Mian"?!!!

Life is really full of ups and downs...Before one can realised we have grown up we have to cold hard accept that we have grown old...Sad!!! But because of life challenges, one grow and excel, learn to grab and let go at the right time, when to love and leave and of course appreciating the wonderful things in life...

However, there are some people whom just like to make use of others and get their way up...Hope they will not learn the hard way when they fell...

Only with our own capabilities and right attitude is then the right way to life, irregardless of religion...

For the beautiful earth and mother nature will still grow as it is supposed to be..
