Biggest Regrets in my life

Tan Wee Thong, my grandpa passed on peacefully on the 12th March 2011. We did not received the news till the 15th March France time (15th Mar Afternoon Singapore Time). We were 10799.5km away in france. We were lost in touch with family for 2weeks due to poor network and sim card spoilt. We didnt make it home to see him for the last time or managed to attend his funeral. How did he look like? how was he? where is he now? is he better off? anymore pain? Trying to recall memories..3 Mar was his last birthday, at Tembeling Rd with all my 4 Gugu and me. We had so much fun, singing, recalling memories etc.. When I was in kindergarten, he would come n fetch me to go to san gor school to buy recess food. On Sunday when we visit him, he will bring us to the playground and buy us ice cream. When we stay over during the school holidays, we witness his daily routines. How he combed his hair, how his sleeping pattern, how he make the tea, how he tied the towel on his forehead, how he smoke with his "hoon tang", how his "hoon you" saved life, how he help out in the toa payoh market stall, how he cooked his "pei tou fish", how he loved us with his man of few words Ah Kong, I love you and I will missed you terribly. Sorry that I did not make it home on time, sorry for shouting when you stayed with us. Sorry for all my worng doing Ah kong, thanks for sharing with me what is "Char kwek Teow", "Or Lua", "Lor Me" 4D, "12 kee". Thanks for all the teaching .. Take care and I miss you
